6.2 Right to Rectification

If you need to update your personal information or discover an error in our handling of your personal information, you can contact customer service through Online Customer Service or the Hi Credit customer service hotline 02018889597 to request a correction. You may also submit your rectification request through feedback or error reporting. Before processing your request, we may require you to verify your identity.

6.3 Right to Deletion

You can delete any non-default bank card you have linked to your account through the “Profile -> Card” section. Unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations, you may request the deletion of your personal information under the following circumstances by contacting Hi Credit customer service 02018889597, and we will respond within the time frame stipulated in Section VI, Article (VIII):

  1. The purpose for processing the information has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary for achieving the processing purpose;
  2. If we have collected or used your personal information in violation of laws and regulations;
  3. If we have collected or used your personal information in violation of our agreement with you;
  4. If you have no outstanding loans or debts on Hi Credit and withdraw your consent;
  5. If we have shared or transferred your personal information with third parties in violation of laws and regulations or our agreement with you, and the data subject requests deletion, we will immediately stop sharing or transferring the information and notify the third party to delete it promptly;
  6. If we have disclosed your personal information in violation of laws and regulations or our agreement with you, we will immediately stop disclosing the information and issue a notice requesting the relevant recipients to delete the corresponding information;
  7. If you no longer use our products or services, or if you have canceled your account, or if we have terminated services and operations, or if the retention period has expired.

If we decide to comply with your deletion request, we will also notify entities that have obtained your personal information from us to delete it promptly, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations or those entities have obtained your independent authorization.

When you delete information from our services, we may not immediately remove the corresponding information from the backup system, but it will be deleted during the backup update.

Each business function requires certain permissions and the collection of necessary personal information to operate. However, after you withdraw your consent or authorization, we will no longer be able to provide the services corresponding to the withdrawn consent or authorization, and we will stop processing the related personal information. Your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the personal information processing activities conducted based on your previous authorization.

Specifically, if you withdraw consent to the Privacy Policy, you will be logged out and only able to access browsing pages; we will no longer be able to provide credit-related functions on the Hi Credit platform, meaning you will not be able to apply for, increase, or borrow credit limits on the platform. You can cancel your account through the “Profile -> Settings -> Account Closure” section, by calling the Hi Credit customer service hotline 02018889597, or by contacting us through Online Customer Service. Once your Hi Credit account is canceled, we will stop providing services to you, and we will no longer collect, use, or share personal information related to that account. However, the personal information you provided or generated during your use of Hi Credit services will still need to be retained as required by laws and regulations and regulatory requirements. During the retention period, we will comply with authorized authorities’ inquiries.

To protect your or others’ legitimate rights, we need to verify your identity when you submit a cancellation request and assess whether your request is supported based on your use of Hi Credit APP products and/or services (e.g., whether there are outstanding loans or unresolved disputes). If you apply for cancellation online, we typically process the request within 15 working days.

Exceptions:

We may not be able to respond to your requests in the following circumstances:

  • Related to the obligations of personal information controllers under laws and regulations.
  • Related to national security and defense.
  • Directly related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests.
  • Directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, and enforcement of judgments.
